Newton Farm has been breeding Lincoln Long Wools in New Hampshire since 2000. We have prided ourselves by being the largest registered Lincoln Long Wool farm in New Hampshire. We have a strong stock of both the colored and the white Lincolns. Our rams are chosen based on bloodline and confirmation. Our Lincolns are heavy boned and stocky. The colored have the traditional 'smiling' Lincoln faces and the white are short coupled and have beautiful high luster fleece.

Our breeding is done late in the fall for lambing in late March and early April. Reservations are suggested if you are interested in breeding stock.

Shearing is done in April and again in October for a fleece staple legnth of about 4 inches. If you are interested in the versatile wool, we do sell in the grease, and washed Lincoln fleece. Please call us for availability.

The Lincoln Sheep are on the endangered list as well as on the historic breed list. They are considered one of the largest breeds of sheep with a fleece staple that can grow easily over 12 inches in legnth. Please browse our pages and see more of our farm.
